Out of 2,000 Americans surveyed in 2018, as many as 500 said they were in some sort of pain constantly. The pain impacted their mood, general outlook on life, and overall health.
After changing their diet, posture, sleep patterns, comfort level, and exercise, 60% of those in pain felt better.

In reality, prioritizing yourself may help you create balance in your life and leave healthy boundaries to your loved ones. When you are happy, you will have a better relationship with your friends and family. It may also set a positive energy in their lives.
2. Set Attainable Goals
Begin to figure out ways on how you can make your goals come true by identifying which is important to you. Remember to be realistic when setting your goals because this will represent an objective toward which you are willing to work. When you see progress it will begin to build more confidence in yourself. That will keep you motivated and keep going.
3. Practice Time Management
Managing your time with work, family, social, school, and anything else you may have going on can seem daunting.
This is a big reason why people don't even try to put their health first. It doesn't seem possible when you look at it from this perspective. This is a mindset.
Instead of putting all of those things before yourself, you should be at the top of the list. When you are healthier, you feel better. When you feel better, you will do better in any of the other areas of your life.
Manage your time based around your needs. Plan time for exercise, meal planning, cooking, meditation, and other healthful practices. When the time comes to do those things, don't let anything else get in the way of it.
It can be difficult to do this at first, but it becomes easier as you practice turning it into a habit. This is a huge step in creating a healthier lifestyle.
4. Learn to Say No
Another challenging task is learning to say no and choose the healthier choice. Some of the unhealthy things we do make us feel better, but only for a short amount of time.
For instance, going out with friends for an expensive night on the town may be fun at the time, but your body and bank account will not thank you for it the next day.
Say no to unhealthy snacks and choose a healthier option. Say no to staying up late to work on a project and get the sleep you need. Say no to getting a quick burger from the drive-thru and prepare a meal at home instead.
Of course, it is still healthy to indulge occasionally, but occasionally does not mean regularly. Finding that distinction for yourself is crucial.
Make yourself a priority over others in your life.
5. Don't Change Too Much at Once
Practice one or two changes at a time to ensure you are able to stick with this new lifestyle. Making significant changes can be easy to do at first, but keeping up with these changes is where you will notice an improvement in your life.
